About your new role

The IT department oversees the management and maintenance of the firm's technology infrastructure.
We ensure the availability, security, and functionality of technology resources, offer technical support to users, manage data storage and backups, implement and maintain software applications, and supervise IT projects and initiatives aligned with firm-wide operations and goals.

Reporting to the IT Training Team Leader and working within the IT Training Team in IT Services, the role holder will be responsible for:
• Delivering training across the Firm working with both new starters and current employees.
• Providing high quality IT Training to the Firm online and in person and floor walking.

The role will be based in Liverpool but will require travel to our other offices nationwide.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Deliver IT induction training to new staff and Partners
• Deliver training using a range of methods including floor-walking, online, group webinars, seminars and one to one sessions
• Assist in the evaluation of training delivered
• Maintain training support materials
• Make visits to other sites providing IT support and training assistance to users
• Resolve training and assistance requests that are submitted to the IT Training Service Desk platform

About You

Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a similar role and in a similar environment.
  
As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have the following : -

  •   Excellent IT skills including Windows 10
  • Proficient use of Office 365,including: 
    •   Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  •   Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to learn
  • Ability to be pro-active in seeking solutions and putting ideas forward
  • Ability to work in teams and independently
  •   Ability to deliver to strict deadlines and targets

·      Desirable

  • IT Certification: Microsoft Office and/or ICDL (International Certification of Digital Literacy)
  • Experience of using Microsoft Teams
