We are currently recruiting for an Employment Solicitor to manage a mixed caseload of employment work and provide HR employment law advice to clients. This role will also be closely aligned to working with client on a national basis dealing with in excess of 400 employment tribunal claims a year.
The role is based in our Liverpool office but we will consider applications for any of our locations, excluding London. The candidate will be based at our Liverpool office and will be required to attend the Liverpool office from time to time to meet with colleagues and other business requirements in line with our Hybrid Working Policy. The firm supports and encourages flexible working arrangements.
The role is fixed term for 6 months initially, with the potential for this to be extended.
Main duties and responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of employment work – predominately discrimination, whistleblowing and complex unfair dismissal
employment tribunal claims
• Provide strategic employment law advice
• Recording and reporting client management information and trends
• Assist in the designation and implementation of innovation and product development
• Work in accordance with client and internal SLAs
• Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values
