Ideally, you will have experience as Solicitor with a genuine interest in the above area of work. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks.
It would be preferable for you to have /be :
You will be a qualified solicitor. We also require you to have:
- Preferably, experience in defending civil claims although candidates who have claimant experience will also be considered
- Ability to undertake advocacy as required
- Knowledge of the CPR and litigation
- Knowledge of police law (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Flexible approach to work and a willingness to travel
