About your new role

PLEASE NOTE: This role is not on the list of occupations eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.

Weightmans national Private Wealth team is a busy fast paced team which handles a lot of original documents and incoming/outgoing post.  Our centralised admin team are based in Liverpool and support all our legal advisers across a number of offices.

Main purpose of role

  • To handle alongside the existing team the incoming and outgoing centralised post for the national Private Wealth team;
  • To handle alongside the existing team the archiving of Wills and other documents for the national team;
  • To support our Will database project; and
  • To assist and support the team of solicitors on their caseloads of private client work and deliver great client service.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Support the national Private Wealth team in respect of handling of both incoming and outgoing post and documents;
  • To archive incoming documents and managing the retrieval of documents from our main archive department;
  • To assist in delivery of our Will database project:
    • Data entry of client details on new database;
    • Contacting clients;
    • Arranging Will review meetings with solicitors in the team;
    • Archiving of new Wills and logging new clients on the database;
  • Filing and scanning documents as required;
  • Open files and prepare client engagement letters for members of the team;
  • Ensure relevant deadlines and quality measures are adhered to;
  • Comply with relevant Weightmans and client policies and procedures;
  • Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values;

 

About You

You will have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work.
We also require you to have/be:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
